Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (the "Terms") form a legally binding agreement between you and 550W Watermark & Text Eraser ("we", "us", or "our") governing your access to and use of our online service at eraser.550wai.com (the "Service"), which is operated by an independent individual developer. By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not access or use the Service. The Service includes both image and video workflows. References to uploaded content, files, tasks, or results cover images, thumbnails, converted image files, videos, and their outputs as applicable.

The Service

The Service provides separate image and video erasing workflows. It can remove watermarks, text, logos, captions, and date stamps from supported images, and remove hardcoded subtitles, captions, watermarks, logos, and on-screen text from supported videos while reconstructing the underlying background. Image processing may include format validation and conversion before processing. The Service also provides processing-task history and the purchase of credits. New users may receive a one-time free-credit bonus. Sign-in is provided through Supabase. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue all or part of the Service at any time.

Eligibility and Accounts

You must be at least 18 years old and capable of entering into a legally binding contract to use the Service. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account and for maintaining the confidentiality of your sign-in credentials. You agree to provide accurate information and not to share, sell, or transfer your account, and to notify us promptly of any unauthorized use of your account.

Acceptable Use and Prohibited Content

You may upload only images and videos that you own or are otherwise lawfully authorized to edit. You must not use the Service to: (a) create, upload, or process adult content, NSFW material, pornography, nudity, or sexual or sexually explicit content of any kind; (b) create, upload, or process child sexual abuse material or content that sexualizes, exploits, or endangers minors; (c) infringe copyright, trademark, privacy, publicity, or other intellectual-property or proprietary rights, including removing subtitles, watermarks, logos, or other marks to facilitate infringement or circumvent rights management; (d) process content that is illegal, defamatory, harassing, hateful, deceptive, or that depicts or promotes violence or illegal activity; or (e) violate applicable law or third-party rights. We may refuse, suspend, or terminate access and remove or refuse to process content that violates these rules, and may report unlawful content to appropriate authorities.

Credits, Pricing, and Payment

Image processing costs 10 credits for each image that completes successfully. Image validation, conversion, submission, TextIn/provider, storage, or internal failures are not charged. Video processing consumes credits according to duration and resolution: 1.3 credits per second at 720p or below and 1.6 credits per second above 720p. Credits are sold in US-dollar packages through Creem, our merchant of record, at the price shown at checkout. Creem collects and remits applicable taxes, and charges may appear as "CREEM.IO" or "Creem". Credits do not expire, are non-transferable, and have no cash value except as expressly provided in our Refund Policy. We may change future pricing without affecting credits already purchased.

Intellectual Property

You retain all rights in images and videos you upload and the output files you receive. We do not claim ownership of your content; you grant us and the processing providers used for your requested task only the limited, temporary licence necessary to validate, convert, process, store temporarily, and deliver that content. All software, trademarks, logos, and other materials comprising the Service remain our property or that of our licensors and may not be used without prior written permission.

Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. Results depend on the input image or video, watermark opacity, overlay size, and background complexity and may not be perfect. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free. Because some jurisdictions do not allow certain warranty exclusions, some exclusions may not apply to you.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits, or revenue, arising out of or relating to your use of the Service. Our aggregate liability for any claim arising out of or relating to the Service or these Terms will not exceed the amount you paid for the credits giving rise to the claim. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits any liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable mandatory law.

Termination

You may stop using the Service or delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms or use the Service unlawfully, or as otherwise required by law. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately, and your data will be handled as described in our Privacy Policy. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will continue to apply.

Governing Law, Language, and Mandatory Rights

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the mainland of the People’s Republic of China, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. These Terms and our related policies are published in multiple languages for your convenience; the English version is the authoritative version, and in the event of any conflict or inconsistency the English version prevails. If you are a consumer, you may also be entitled to the protection of the mandatory provisions of the law of your country of residence, and this governing-law clause does not deprive you of those mandatory protections, including mandatory rights under the GDPR or UK GDPR and applicable consumer-protection laws.
